Débora received a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from ELISAVA, specialising in Editorial Design. While studying, she achieved a Bronze ADG Laus award with the project: “The Ugly Collective”. It was during her Final Degree Thesis “Postbōk: Towards an immersive reading culture”, made in collaboration with the iconic publishing house Penguin Random House, that she had the chance to present it at Blanc Festival 2020. This is when she developed a strong interest in speculative and critical design.

Her internships at McCann advertisement agency and Pino.design gave her a practical background, in order to work efficiently; an exchange in Helsinki gave her the opportunity to explore different fields such as: interaction and service design. She also had the opportunity to explore more deeply the photography and videography industry at Diaz Wichmann Studios. Has been part of the Art Team at Cocunat, where she expanded her knowledge about packaging design and art direction. Now she is proudly part of the Urth team in Australia.

With a calm but ambitious personality she learned how to work under pressure with demanding deadlines. She’s highly motivated by film photography, art direction, editorial and speculative design.
